Hillary and Bill Clinton take part in Memorial Day Parade

As part of an annual tradition, Bill and Hillary Clinton took part in the annual Memorial Day parade in their hometown of Chappaqua, New York. Despite the rainy morning, the Clintons, Governor Andrew Cuomo, and parade goers celebrated the holiday to honor service members.

Vice President Biden, Anne Holton, Senator Sanders Campaign for Clinton on Labor Day

A number of Labor Day events were held across the country today on behalf of Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine. In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Vice President Joe Biden and Tim Kaine took part in a Labor Day parade and each spoke to a crowd of supporters and parade goers. Biden spoke about the importance of the upcoming election saying that Donald Trump is not a friend of workers saying, “Look at the man’s behavior — personal behavior. He really does believe that workers make too much.” Kaine then took the stage and delivered a similar message talking about Clinton’s dedication to job creation and the economy. A video of Biden’s and Kaine’s speeches are below.

In Virginia, Kaine wife, Anne Holton, campaigned on behalf of Clinton and Kaine at two separate events. The first was the 7th Annual Salute to Labor Unions & Community Leaders Breakfast in Hampton where she spoke about Clinton’s dedication to labor unions and their rights. Then, at an event in Newport News, Holton was joined by Lt. Gov. Ralph Northam for the Bobby Scott Annual Labor Day Picnic. During her remarks, Holton focused on her specialty, education. As the former Secretary of Education for Virginia, Holton spoke about the importance of understanding the needs of educators and students. She said, “Really, what Hillary has asked me to do is talk to teachers. Listen to teachers, educators, parents, students and bring feedback back to her. I’m excited to be doing that on the campaign trail.” Videos from the events will be added when/if available.

Finally, in Lebanon, New Hampshire, Senator Bernie Sanders spoke to a group of supporters at Lebanon High School where he campaigned on behalf of Clinton. During his speech, Sanders spoke about Clinton’s job plan and her dedication to improving the country’s economy. Following his speech, Governor Maggie Hassan also spoke on Clinton’s behalf. Hillary Clinton Speaks at Conference of Mayors, Marches in NYC Pride Parade

On Sunday, Hillary Clinton spoke at the United States Conference of Mayors where she spoke about a number of her platform points. She focused on attacking Republican Donald Trump’s positions on a number of topics, although she never mentioned him by name. Clinton also spoke about gun control saying that it is imperative to act and reduce gun violence. She cited surveys which indicate that the vast majority of Americans and gun owners alike support mandatory background checks for the purchase of a firearm. Clinton said, “I know we can respect the 2nd Amendment and make common sense reforms.” A video of Clinton’s speech is below:

Earlier in the day, Clinton marched in the New York City Pride Parade where she joined Governor Andrew Cuomo, Mayor Bill de Blasio, and Rev. Al Sharpton. The Pride Parade celebrates the LGBT community and the monumental Supreme Court ruling that ensures states cannot block same-sex marriage. The court’s ruling was announced a year ago today.

Following her speech, Clinton went to Cincinnati, Ohio where she attended a campaign fundraiser. The event was hosted by Mayor John Cranley, Dena Cranley, Allan Berliant, and Jennie Rosenthal Berliant. Yesterday, a fundraiser was held on behalf of Hillary for America for American citizens living abroad. The event was held in Paris, France and was billed as a Men’s Fashion Week Party. Speaking at the event were actor Kyle MacLachlan and Project Runway producer Desiree Gruber.

Clintons Take Part in Hometown Memorial Day Parade

On Monday, Bill and Hillary Clinton marched in Chappaqua, New York’s Memorial Day parade. The Clintons own a home in the city and have participated in local celebrations for years. Marching in the parade with the Clintons was New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. This coming week, Clinton will return to the campaign trail attending events in New Jersey and California.

Clinton Takes part in Independence Day Parade

RT_hillary_clinton_new_hampshire_jt_150704_16x9_992Hillary Rodham Clinton remained in New Hampshire on Saturday and celebrated Independence Day by taking part in a parade in Gorham, where she spoke with a number of people who turned out for the parade. Clinton then attended an organizing party in Glen, where she spoke about foreign policy. Her primary concern is China. She accused Beijing of hacking government information and expressed her concern about the growth of China’s military power in the Pacific.

Clinton also talked about Russia and the fact that the United States needs to continue engaging with President Vladimir Putin to better understand his intentions. She also addressed the nuclear deal with Iran that is still far from complete. Clinton warned that if a deal was not made, “Iran’s aggressiveness will not end.”

enhanced-22311-1401127184-1Hillary Rodham Clinton celebrated Memorial Day in Chappaqua, New York to take part in the New Castle Memorial Day Parade. Living nearby, the Clintons have made a tradition of spending Memorial Day in Chappaqua. Clinton was well received by the crowd and spent a lot of her time talking to the local citizens. While she did briefly speak to a local news station, she made it clear that she was only interested in talking about the day’s events meaning that she was would not discuss 2016 or her upcoming book tour, although many tried!
